This treatment's main mechanism is medical microneedling — a minimally invasive procedure that pricks the scalp with a microneedling pen. The controlled, superficial trauma does four things at once: it stimulates elastin and collagen in the scalp, increases blood flow, improves the absorption of topical hair loss treatments, and releases platelets and hair growth factors that help thicken existing hair follicles.
Layered onto this is IYASHI. When exosomes are delivered through the microneedling system — rather than applied on top — the scalp is primed to receive them, and their effects are compounded. The procedure finishes with blue light therapy, a quiet final step that gives the treatment a boost for greater results. How long is the treatment?
The treatment will take around 90 minutes.
Is there any downtime or side effects?
There is no downtime. You may notice some redness on your scalp after the treatment. Rest assured that this is normal and will dissipate within the next day.
What is the treatment's suitability?
Suitable for anyone experiencing advanced hair loss or simply looking to have luscious locks. It is however unsuitable for individuals with: medical conditions affecting the skin; an infection, tumour, or wound that has not fully healed in the treatment area; prone to keloids or hypertrophic scarring; blood or wound-healing disorders; HIV positive or other systemic disorders; diabetic; or pregnant women.
How often must I do the treatment?
We recommend weekly treatments at the start. Thereafter, maintenance sessions will be advised based on your individual condition.
How soon can I see results?
You can expect to see some improvements within 12–24 weeks with consistent, uninterrupted hair loss treatment.
How soon can I wash my hair after treatment?
It is recommended to wait for at least 4 hours before washing your hair, but our therapists will advise further during your treatment.

What should I avoid before microneedling?
Avoid chemical hair treatments (colouring, bleaching, perming, rebonding, chemical straightening or keratin) at least 7 days before; avoid exfoliating scalp products or medicated shampoos before your session; and avoid unnecessary sun exposure.
